Below, you will find instructor support for working with the Gradebook in Sage amp.
How do I access and work with the Gradebook?
The Gradebook allows instructors to (1) view and analyze scores and statistics for students and question items in assignments, (2) review student results, (3) create customized grade reports that reflect your grading policy, (4) export grades to a file, and (5) use customized rubrics to assign grades to students. In addition, from the Gradebook you can grade essay questions, add feedback, create rubrics, and adjust grades.
Viewing Student Attempts on Assignments
The Sage amp system will automatically store assignment session scores in the Gradebook. The Gradebook can be accessed via the top menu bar of the Class Homepage. In the left-hand column of the Gradebook, select the proper Unit (or Chapter) under All Lessons and Assignments. To the right, all the items for the corresponding unit will be shown. Select the quiz or assignment you would like to view. To select multiple assignments or lessons, hold down the Ctrl key (Command, on Mac) to select more than one assignment at a time.

Viewing Class Performance Reports
To gain further insight into class performance and to pinpoint what concepts students may be struggling with, instructors can generate and view helpful reports. Click Gradebook at the top of the screen, then select Item Statistics. Select the chapter to view. Next, select the assignments to view. To select multiple items, click, hold, and drag the cursor over multiple items. Then, to view results for all the students in the class, check that the list field is set to All students. Finally, use Search to generate a report below. This report shows every question in the assignment along with some key information:
- Count = Number of students who submitted the assignment
- Correct = Number of students who answered this question correctly
- Partial = Number of students who answered parts of this question correctly
- Incorrect = Number of students who did NOT answer this question correctly
